故事主要讲述剩女应小乐（秦雅思饰演）在一个据说非常灵验的许愿树 上偷了几条许愿红丝带。没想到古老的传说竟然显灵，被应小乐所偷的红丝带的主人纷纷向她疯狂求爱，焦头烂额的应小乐在面临各种类型的男人们求爱时不知所措。最后应小乐明白，女人只有独立自主，才能做爱情的赢家。The Chinese term, \"sheng nu\" means, \"leftover women\", it refers to women who are successful yet unmarried in their late twenties and beyond. To the rest of the world this may seem harsh, but for millennial Chinese women, it's an all-too-familiar part of daily life in China. A successful Bachelorette, Ying Xiao Le (played by Maggie Qin) is pressured by her parents to get married and on mission to find her Mr. Right. Advised by her friends she goes to the fabled Wishing Tree and makes a wish to find Mr. Right. Suddenly, an old Chinese myth comes true and a series of awkward events follow when four eligible bachelors suddenly fight for her attention and one of them is a childhood friend who's had a crush her since they were kids. In the end, true love wins. And self-love is the best way to find true love. The film explores the clash of modern and tradition views of a woman's role in China. Although China and many other Asian countries, share a long history of conservative views of marriage and a woman's role in the family structure.
