前三章都是用的经里的章节名，启示录/出埃及记/创世纪，第四章没有。电影字幕可能翻译成“启示/出走/起因/复仇”。
Brimstone:

Apocalypse
1. Eli (aka: 伊莱)在Samuel(aka: 撒母耳记) 里是Shiloh的牧师，当然他们都喜欢从经里面取名字，也许没深意。不过有意思的是，God对Eli的儿子下过诅咒，但是之前又保证Eli肯定后继有人，所以Eli儿子都挂了。电影第四章Retribution里面，Eli的儿子最先死掉。经里说的是Eli的Lineage活不过成年，虽然电影里Matthew看起来也没有成年，但是他去杀了一头猪(, which我猜是成年仪式？因为Joanna第一次月经之后，牧师很快就让她也去杀猪)。但是还是像Eli的爸爸也就是Sam的爷爷也死了，果然他家男的都死了(虽然爷爷不能算作Eli的lineage)。
2. 牧师老爱Quo的一句：
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves (Matthew 7:15 ).

Chapter II Exodus

2. Frank's Inferno这个妓院名嗯，大概sporting house（戏里用的不是这个词，但是我想不起来是哪个词了很接近，大概是cat house？反正不是用的brothel）里没有爱，像是Inferno/Hell吧。

Chapter III Genesis
1. Anna不和牧师同房，牧师在信众前羞辱Anna，然而所有的信众说的所谓的启示也都是编的... 嗯有时候我也极端地认为所有教义都是Bullsh*t...
2. 记不清Joanna荷兰语祈祷的内容了，我印象应该是这段：
Matthew Chapter VI
9 Gij dan bidt aldus: Onze Vader, Die in de hemelen zijt! Uw Naam worde geheiligd.
10 Uw Koninkrijk kome. Uw wil geschiede, gelijk in den hemel alzo ook op de aarde.

6. Anna在这一章在教堂自杀被牧师说Profaneness，Anna终于勇敢一回... 然而牧师可能认为Anna这种行为对于牧师来说是Sin，然后自己回去抽了自己，洗了小净(不知该不该这么叫)，然后就认为上帝原谅他了。
7. 经里面其实说：
你们都不可露骨肉之前的下体，亲近他们。我是耶和华（利 18:6）
不可露了夫人的下体，又露她女儿的下体，也不可娶她孙女或是外孙女，露她们的下体，他们是骨肉至亲，这本是大恶(利 18:18)。”所以我想，牧师后来找到Joanna的时候说“I've sinned...” blah，是说她不仅和Anna而且和Joanna。(和合本)
Chapter IV Retribution
1. 前三Chapters都是经里面的名字，Retribution不是，不太明白。当然，经里也有很多说Retribution的，毕竟某全知全能动不动就要屠城。但是感觉是这样，最后Joanna/Liz在里面手语和Sam的爷爷说，"This is my fight"，经上讲：
Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, "Vengeance is mine, I will repay" says the Lord (Romans 12:19).
Joanna自己复仇，所以，Joanna是GOD(想起来And When He Falleth里面的说话部分，男声：If you believe, you are GOD.)
牧师好像也Quo过关于Retribution的经，但是记不得了....
2. Matthew在这一章被牧师打死
3. 牧师这一章又Quo了 Matthew 7:15 并且模仿了狼叫
牧师最后一句： People think it's the flames that make Hell unbearable. It's not. It is the absence of love.
人要死话还这么多... 不懂他是不是在暗示前面铋城的妓院里没有爱还是他自己没有爱，所以其实他一直都在地狱？这个牧师荷兰口音不重啊... 怀疑这牧师怎么娶到Anna的，一开始以为也是续弦。后来搜了搜原来剧本里是因为牧师让Anna觉得害怕（总是穿那么严肃还留着Amish的胡子）所以Anna不愿意和他同房，难免一开始Anna说Joanna是亲女儿时候觉得迷惑。以及，反派的命就是长，被割喉都死不了，还能杀死拿刀/枪杀自己的人，无敌。最后范宁跳湖，有一点像奥菲利亚，虽然没有花花。
虽然上面Brimstone的时候写过了，但是觉得下面这个挺适合牧师：
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever (Revelation 20:10).
