I think Filet is an extraordinary ant. He invents those machine that can surprisingly improve production efficiency. But he always screws things up. And the ants have oppressed by grasshoppers for a long time and no one stands up to fight except for Filet.
The movie is good at express the trait of this insect. For example, flies like to eat shit , caterpillar wants to become a beautiful butterfly and so on. It's fantastic.

The little dot complain herself that she can not do anything to help people. Filet tells her that you just like a seed, you need some time,a little bit of water and sunshine.
