There is only Mer left, but she will be ok. Alex is the one who make me realized that anyone can be a better person, a great person, even though the worst happened to him, the trash the god left him, the terriblest the life came to him. But you can still be good, be better, be a great peds surgeon, be somebody's person, and be a responsible grown up even though you're abandoned by a junkie dad and a crackpot mon, by the love of your life. I missed Derek and Slon too, but Alex will always be the one who taugh me how to survive, how to grow from a smart-mouth kid to a grown up with good faith and kindness.
