八月二日,平静的一天。我坐在靠近敞开的露台门的一张桌子旁,摊开纸张与笔记,把相去甚远但似乎属于同一秩序的事件勾连起来。
然而在这种出人意料的肢体接触中,总有某种失重的、幽灵般的东西掠过我的身体。例如……
不仅在当时,哪怕现在回忆起来,我仍想知道,在那两位美丽的读书女子与这个建于一九三二年、规模超过当时欧洲所有其他火车站的巨大铁路中枢之间,在所谓的对过去的石头见证与对未来的模糊渴望——这种渴望被植入我们的身体,为了让它们能聚居于尘土飞扬的大地和洪水浸没的田野——之间,有什么关联。
(为何会在一个旅途之后思考偶然所见的事物之间的关联……就像现实和回忆的叠加……a soft subtle touch, but repetitively and slight differently. when I am reading Sebald, he reminds of K and he indeed mentions K. he quotes from his friends, from newspapers and from the host of the hotels. his characters are always travelling, climbing,missing somewhere, they visit hotels, friends' homes, monuments and heritages... train station, short stay somewhere, things with history and momory... it reminds me when Giedion talked to me about K's trips in mainland of Europe to cure his problems...fragmentary events while our memory connects them into some seemingly order...
sebald笔下的人物很像magritte画中的,在仿佛有什么寓意或含义的布景之中,悬浮的,仿佛与布景有一点,又好像根本没有关系的样子。这和在欧洲的空间体验是相似的。)
……在翻动对开本时,我发现……一张明信片……我把明信片揣进口袋,在往后的日子里经常透过放大镜端详和琢磨它的每一个细节。
