看了预告片，想象着电影一定充满了宗教与进化论的辩论与斗争，结果发现故事的重点并不是在大是大非之上。着墨最重的是达尔文作为一位丈夫一位父亲对妻儿的愧疚，电影的大部分镜头切换都在达尔文臆想中与已逝去大女儿安妮的对话中进行。感觉有点沉闷，有点压抑。据对不适合患有中度或严重抑郁症人士观看……
电影改编自《安妮的盒子》（Annie's Box: Charles Darwin, his Daughter, and Human Evolution ），作者是达尔文的曾曾外孙。
I don't think the movie has much to do with religions or atheism.The only think I could feel is the pain of losing a loved one.I could feel a depressing atmosphere surrounding me when I was watching Darwin got trapped in his own mind and the endless conversations with his dead daughter Annie.I don't think it is a bad movie.It is just the depressing feeling was strong enough to make me suffocated.
